Nails Inc 45 Second Retinol Top Coat

I love doing my nails but I can't stand it when the polish chips which is why I am SO pleased to have discovered this Nails Inc 45 Second Retinol Top Coat.

The best thing about this top coat, (apart from the brush which I love because it doesn't overload or go gloopy), is the fact that when it says it will dry in 45 seconds it means that it will dry in 45 seconds. This is totally brilliant for someone like me who can't be bothered to wait for things to dry! It gives such an amazing shine as well and lasts for a long time, it doesn't start to wear away for about five days.

I bought this in Marks & Spencer in the beauty department, I also bought a set of mini Leighton Denny polishes at the same time (I'll do a separate post on them). The cost was £15 which actually did give me a bit of a sharp intake of breath at the time but I was fed up with waiting for top coats to dry and then finding that they didn't give a nice shine or they chipped quickly.

I would definitely recommend this as a top coat and I will replace it when I've finished it. The only other top coats that I have ever really rated are the Avon Gel Shine and the Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat, the plus side to these is that they are both a lot cheaper (less than £10) and they give a lovely shine but I did find these both went gloopy after a while despite making sure that the top was on super tight! I think with a top coat maybe you just don't use it enough before it becomes thick and unusable.
